Resource Evaluation In-Person
Resource Evaluation
Description: Evaluation occurs when the researcher selects one source over another for a specific reason. All resources are not created equal. Selecting the best information sources requires looking at your assignment, the research topic and the sources themselves to determine the value that a given resource provides to your work. Students look at the publication process of various types of resources in order to discern the distinctive characteristics of each. Research scenarios are explored to illustrate the application of the evaluation process.
